Bike the Barns is a fully supported recreational road cycling tour that highlights the rich agricultural movement of the North Country. Riders are invited to stop at farm stops along the route to connect with the producers who are driving our region’s local food revolution. The ride culminates with a finish line celebration complete with local food, beverages and live music.
This year’s route will start and end at Ausable Brewing Company in Keeseville with stops at Northern Orchard and the Babbie Rural and Farm Learning Museum in Peru and Mace Chasm Farm and North Country Creamery in Keeseville. The finish-line meal will be served by Northern Feast Catering with beverages provided by Ausable Brewing Company. Adirondack “Ulterier-folk” band Nubble will entertain riders and supporters under the pavilion.
Registration is full, but we are still accepting signups for the waitlist as we anticipate some late cancelations before the event. Register today to get your name on the list!

Thank you to the farms, businesses, sponsors, volunteers and riders who made the 2023 Bike the Barns such a wonderful success, including our partners at BikeADK, an Adirondack owned and operated bicycle-powered company based in Saranac Lake, NY.
Many thanks to all who braved the weather to join us for the 2023 ride through New York’s Champlain Valley, starting and finishing at the Ausable Brewing Company in Keeseville, New York. Check out our What’s Up North blog and photo gallery from the day’s celebration.
The 2024 ride will follow the same route and visit the same farm stops as the 2023 event. We look forward to a beautiful Fall day this year for Bike the Barns!
