Bike the Barns is a fully supported recreational road cycling tour that highlights the rich agricultural movement of the North Country. Riders are invited to stop at farm and community stops along the route to connect with the producers and entrepreneurs who are driving our region’s local food revolution.
ANCA’s 9th Bike the Barns returns to New York’s Champlain Valley, where riders will start and finish at the Essex County Fairgrounds in Westport.
Stops along the ride include Juniper Hill Farm in Wadhams and the Whallonsburg Grange and Whitcomb’s Arts and community space in Essex.
The ride culminates with a finish line celebration back at the Fairgrounds featuring a locally sourced meal prepared by ADK Food Therapy, beverages by Ausable Brewing Company, and live music by the Midnight Stargazers.
