WATERTOWN — Students at the Watertown City School District’s Wiley
Intermediate School will get the first taste of a salad bar from the “Salad
Made Simple” program this fall.

“Salad Made Simple” is being implemented with the help of the Adirondack
North Country Association, Cornell Cooperative Extension of Jefferson
County and Food Venture Advisors.

According to a press release, the salad bar is part of the “Drive for 25”
initiative to increase state funding for certain school lunch programs.
