SARANAC LAKE — More than 150 people and 57 businesses attended the Tri-Lakes Business Expo on Sept. 28 hosted by the Saranac Lake Area Chamber of Commerce.

The expo was held at the newly-renovated Saranac Lake Civic Center and was a combination of business-to-business networking, business to consumer networking and breakout business workshop sessions. The expo featured keynote speaker Steve Eaton, vice president of operations from Norsk Titanium, who spoke about some of the economic, social, and geopolitical challenges all companies are facing today and the importance of building and sustaining relationships in the community to help manage these challenges.

Businesses were from a variety of industry sectors and a wide geographical area including Saranac Lake, Tupper Lake, Lake Placid, Malone, Plattsburgh and Glens Falls. The complimentary breakout sessions featured Doug Haney from Great Range Marketing with the topic of marketing, David Epstein Ha-Levi from the Adirondack Diversity Initiative with an introduction to the new Welcoming and Belonging Micro-Credential Program, and Ami Parekh from Bionique Testing Laboratories discussing adaptive leadership in a changing business landscape.
