Ticonderoga Area North Country Entrepreneurship Meetups

The Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce (TACC), in partnership with Clarkson University’s Shipley Center For Innovation and regional partner agencies including ANCA, are excited to announce the launch of the Ticonderoga Area North Country Entrepreneurship Meetups as part of TACC’s Small Towns, Big Opportunities initiative.

This new program will bring together entrepreneurs, small business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, innovators, and business support organizations from across the Ticonderoga Area and greater North Country region for a series of casual, collaborative, and engaging networking meetups designed to strengthen entrepreneurial connections and support business growth in rural communities. The initial meetups are currently scheduled for:

  • Thursday, June 18, 2026
  • Thursday, September 17, 2026
  • Thursday, October 15, 2026

 

All meetups will take place from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Seymour’s Restaurant located at the Ticonderoga Golf Course. There is no cost to attend, however pre-registration is suggested. Light refreshments and snacks will be provided, a cash bar will also be available.

North Country Entrepreneurship Meetup

Building a business is hard – but you don’t have to do it alone!

Entrepreneurship is an exciting and deeply rewarding journey, but it can also feel overwhelming or isolating at times—especially when you’re navigating it on your own. That’s why we created the North Country Entrepreneurship Meetup: a welcoming space where entrepreneurs come together to share their stories, celebrate wins, tackle challenges, and geek out about all things entrepreneurial.

Launched in June 2025, the program began as a monthly gathering rotating across St. Lawrence County. Since then, it has grown into a regional series of regular meetups spanning the entire seven-county North Country region. In partnership with other business support organizations throughout the region, we now host meetups in Lowville, Potsdam, Malone, Plattsburgh, Elizabethtown, Ticonderoga, and the Tri-Lakes.

Each meetup is grounded in the same core principles of networking, storytelling, and peer-to-peer support, and draws a diverse mix of innovators, entrepreneurs, and business owners from a wide range of industries and stages. All meetups are free to attend and open to everyone. Join us for one – or all! – spread the word, and bring a friend.
