New Grant Opportunity for North Country Agricultural Producers
Beginning in Spring 2026, ANCA will be offering grant awards of up to $10,000 for North Country agricultural producers. Grant funds will be awarded to projects that expand markets for American agricultural products, create new markets, improve supply chains, increase access to market infrastructure, and promote long-term economic sustainability. It is estimated that ANCA will be able to make 40 to 80 total awards.
Applicants must be actively farming and located inside ANCA’s 14-county service area, which includes the following counties: Clinton, Essex, Franklin, Fulton, Hamilton, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, St. Lawrence, Saratoga, Oneida, Oswego, Warren, and Washington. The application for the program will be released on March 18, 2026 with an application deadline of April 8, 2026.

Program Timeline

- • Wednesday, March 18 — Application materials will be released.
- • Thursday, March 26 at 5:00 p.m. — ANCA will host a virtual program webinar. The meeting link will be available on the website, and will also be emailed to individuals who fill out the interest form.
- • March 18 – 27 — ANCA staff will accept questions about the program, and answers will be published on the program website.
- • Wednesday, April 8 — Applications are due.
