Adirondack Park Regional Assessment Study Regional Meeting Invitation January 4, 2008 - Adirondack Association of Towns and Villages (AATV) and Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA), and the towns of Chester and Arietta, sponsors of the Adirondack Regional Assessment Study, invite all interested municipal officials throughout the Adirondack Park to a series of regional meetings designed to inform you about and involve you in this economic/community development research project. Representatives of the Steering Committee and their consultants will give an overview of the study and answer questions about the survey that will be conducted in all 103 towns and villages in the Park. The survey will develop a critical database of information to support Park-wide economic development planning. The Regional Meetings will allow project sponsors and consultants to explain the effort and gather input for a comprehensive survey. These meetings and the study will help us gain valuable input to guide the future of Adirondack Park communities Officials are free to attend any of the regional meetings. The meetings have been set up geographically to accommodate all communities partially or entirely within the Adirondack Park. Our goal is to have each community represented at one of the meetings. All communities are encouraged to participate and are not required to be members of either of the above organizations or financial contributors to this study.
