Since 2002, Martha Pickard has worked as ANCA’s Grazing Program Coordinator to implement core programs in agriculture in partnership with the Grazing Lands Conservation Initiative Through our regional outreach ANCA works with hundreds of farmers to address how to make small farms prosper. ANCA provides grazing plans and on farm mentoring to grass—based farmers. ANCA works in partnership with local NRCS offices to provide technical support to Federal Farm Bill funding recipients and with local extension offices to provide educational programming. Infrastructure needs have been addressed through the organized purchase and use of a Mobile Processing Unit for poultry.
