Dale Brown

Dale Brown has been involved with ANCA since 1997, when he was encouraged by Wayne Byrne to become a Director. Byrne, was one of the original founders of the organization with Roger Tubby. At that time, he lived and worked in Plattsburgh, Clinton County and now lives in Gloversville, Fulton County.

Involved in banking for more than 40 years in Upstate New York and Vermont, Brown is presently employed by NBT Bank in Speculator as Assistant Vice President and Manager. He also served with the U.S Army in both Vietnam and Germany between 1968 and 1971.

Brown holds degrees from SUNY Brockport (History), as well Broome Community College in Binghamton. He completed further studies at the Graduate School of Retail Bank Management at the University of Virginia.

Besides ANCA, Brown is involved with the Adirondack Speculator Region Chamber of Commerce, the Fulton County Museum and Historical Society, and various fraternal organizations.

Brown and his wife, Joanne Saxton Brown,  have 2 children: daughter Kimberly who is married to Sean Gittens, and son Mark; and a granddaughter, Victoria.
