Recent Dude Ranch Trail Scenic Byway News

2007 Program Highlights - Dude Ranch Corridor Management Planning Project:

ANCA secured $112,000 in byways funding toward a $140,000 project for the development of the Dude Ranch Corridor Management Plan in Warren and Saratoga counties.
ANCA staff prepared a work plan and budget for submission to NYSDOT for the project.
ANCA staff prepared a contractor list for the Dude Ranch Trail for distribution of the RFP’s in the new year. The project planning will involve the counties of Warren and Saratoga.

ANCA Lands Scenic Byway Program Funding for Upstate New York

September 28, 2006 - The Adirondack North Country Association (ANCA) has received notification from the NYS Department of Transportation that ANCA will receive three National Scenic Byways 2006 Program grant awards. Fifteen counties will benefit from the grant projects that will serve to stimulate economic development, promote highway touring, increase interest in the region, and maintain the special resources that draw people to the interconnected system of byways in Upstate New York. The total 2006 project award of $260,338 will be matched with $65,128 at the local level for a combined project cost of $325,466. Read more...
