The southeastern area of the Adirondack North Country region is bordered by Lake Champlain and Vermont and the Mohawk River to the south. The following Scenic Byways traverse this area; Blue Ridge Trail, Lakes to Locks Passage, Dude Ranch Trail Byway, Mohawk Towpath Byway, Central Adirondack Trail Byway, Adirondack Trail Byway, Revolutionary Byway, Roosevelt-Marcy Byway and High Peaks Byway.
